Poultry Desk computes FCR automatically using the formula: Total Feed Consumed (KG) ÷ Total Live Weight (KG). The system pulls daily feed data from validated daily logs and weight data from weekly body weight samples, comparing results against breed standard targets (Ross 308, Cobb 500, Hubbard).
The European Production Efficiency Factor (EPEF) is the gold-standard metric for comparing broiler production performance. Formula: (Livability% × Body Weight KG × 100) ÷ (Age in Days × FCR). A score above 300 is considered good; above 400 is excellent. Poultry Desk calculates this automatically.
